The Estimate and Scheduling

At Tsawwassen Collision the first step is the initial estimate. We have three estimators on staff so feel free to drop by – no appointment necessary.

Then we send the estimate to the insurance company. With established procedures for estimating and repair, the days of insurance companies requiring two or three estimates are long gone.

Repairs cannot start until the estimate is approved, but that usually happens within 48 hours and often parts can be sourced or even ordered right away.

The vehicle is then scheduled for repairs.

Service Cars

As soon as your car is in our shop, with an authorized work order, we can take care of your replacement vehicle needs. Before that point the insurance company will assume responsibility if you have loss of use coverage.

The Repair

A reputable shop will listen to the owner, take a careful look at the car and then suggest a repair that makes sense, both to the owner and the vehicle. Knowledgeable damage assessment, correct parts ordering and qualified competent technicians working with good equipment are a must for any car damage repair.

For some more extensive collision repair and auto body repair there are many variables that can make a definitive completion date difficult. We always provide our best estimate of time before the repair starts and always keep you informed during the repair.

After the Repair

The best tip is to simply use the car as you did before the accident. If there are mechanical repair problems, they will show up in normal use. A reputable repair shop will work with you to resolve each and every issue, whether it appears a day, week or even several months later.
