What’s Behind that Minor Surface Damage?
We recently stated that “A car can be repaired to look and drive exactly as it did before the accident, but if the repair facility doesn’t perform correct structural repairs, the car will not perform to its design capabilities in another accident.”
Here is a good example of what can appear to be minor and leads to significant hidden damage. This auto body repair presented itself as a pretty minor external damage but with clues of additional inner damage. Once apart, a reasonably difficult frame end section was required. The replacement of the frame section was done following OEM (Nissan) repair and replacement procedures.
